A. Back to school
Các hoạt động gồm Let's sing, Let's play và Write and share. Bài hát có các câu tiêu biểu: “Back to school. Happy to see my friends!” và “Learning and playing are really cool!” Trò chơi Birthday line-up sử dụng mẫu: “My birthday is in January / February.” Phần viết gợi ý: “I think I'm good at …”, “I want to learn … well.” và “I want to know more about …”.
B. Last summer
Trò Guessing game ôn hỏi đáp quá khứ: “Were you in Tay Ninh last summer? – No, I wasn't.”; “Were you in Sa Pa last summer? – Yes, I was.” Phần nói hỏi: “Where were you last summer?”, “What was the weather like there?” và “Was it fun?”
C. Classroom instructions
Bài chant dùng các lời gọi–đáp như “Class, class, class! – Yes, yes, yes?” và lời mời “Do you want to play a game? … Let's play a guessing game.”
