The lesson introduces contracted forms through the Unit 2 conversation. Learners distinguish fuller and shortened forms in natural exchanges, including who’ll / who will and I’ll / I will. One prompt reads, “I’m not sure who’ll/who will be the next presenter. Will you speak next?” followed by “Yes, I’ll/I will.” The work asks learners to listen, identify contractions, and practise choosing the natural spoken form while recognising the corresponding full grammatical form in writing.
