Talking about the different generations of a family; Starting a conversation or discussion

Learners discuss generations in their families and practise starting or extending a conversation. Suggested ideas include being open to new ways of thinking, having fixed ideas about the world, wanting to make one’s own decisions, and holding traditional views. A supporting table asks whether teamwork, creative use of digital devices, critical thinking, business ambitions, and curiosity apply to Generation X, Y, or Z. Conversation prompts invite a partner’s view, for example asking what they think about their generation.
