THIS UNIT INCLUDES: types of house; rooms and furniture; final sounds /s/ and /z/; possessive case; prepositions of place; skills for reading, describing, listening, and writing about a house.
A reading task asks: “Which family members does Mi talk about? Put a tick (✓).” The page also labels the model house with room names: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living room.
Vocabulary work asks students to name things in each room with a word list including lamp, toilet, cupboard, picture, sink, dishwasher, sofa, fridge, shower, and chest of drawers. The grammar section then moves to possessive forms and prepositions of place.
