THIS UNIT INCLUDES: body parts and appearance; personality adjectives; pronunciation of /b/ and /p/; grammar focus on the present continuous; skills for reading, talking, listening, and writing about friends.
The opening conversation begins: “That was a great idea, Nam. I love picnics!” The follow-up tasks ask students to fill blanks from the conversation and label body parts using words such as cheek, eye, hand, arm, mouth, leg, nose, hair, shoulder, and foot.
A later vocabulary lesson lists personality adjectives, and the pronunciation section practises /b/ and /p/ with pairs such as big / pig.
