The vocabulary section defines and practises city dweller, roof garden, skyscraper, urban centre, and traffic jam. A city dweller is a person who lives in a city. A roof garden is built on top of a building. A skyscraper is a very tall modern building, and a traffic jam is a road situation in which too many vehicles move very slowly or stop. Unit collocations also include public transport, private vehicles, modern infrastructure, high-rise buildings, and smart city.
